Walking is more than just a hobby for me, it has given me many happy hours and helped me through difficult times, both professionally and privately.

Hiking makes me think, sometimes leading to a more profound understanding of issues that concern me and to new insights or changed perspectives.

Here is what else I wanted to say

Objectivity and independence are the cornerstones of my blog, Gedankengang.

In concrete terms, this means:
I don’t take a fee for writing articles, and I don’t pay anyone for interviews. This guarantees that everything you read here is authentically written by me and free from outside influence.

Also:
Of course, my articles are also advertisements for the people, their products, and the services they offer. I am not paid for this, my benefit is the increase in my digital visibility and the associated advertising effect for my services as a walking guide.

Why this is important:
I want to inspire as many people as possible with entertaining and authentic stories on my blog Gedankengang and to emphasise the joy of walking and the beauty of nature.

To add a personal touch, I also provide insights into my life — these personal notes from me, Elmar, are highlighted in blue. This makes it easy to distinguish my personal thoughts and comments from those of my guests and friends. It is important to me to offer various perspectives, while still adding my voice.
